Overview

KOREA YOUTH SUMMIT

The Korea Youth Summit (KYS) is an inspiring international gathering that brings together young changemakers to explore the power of culture in shaping inclusive, creative, and resilient societies. Organized by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation, KYS places youth at the heart of cultural preservation and innovation, celebrating Korea’s global reputation as a vibrant cultural hub.

Carrying the tagline “Living Culture, Lasting Legacy,” the summit fosters deep reflection and action on how tradition and modernity can coexist. Through insightful sessions, cultural immersion, and collaborative learning, participants are encouraged to rethink the role of youth in preserving heritage, reimagining identity, and fostering intercultural understanding.

A signature element of the summit is the Cultural Project Competition, where delegates propose creative solutions and campaigns to preserve, celebrate, and innovate around local and global cultural values. These youth-led initiatives aim to address real-world cultural challenges while promoting diversity and unity.

KYS is more than an event. It's a movement that empowers young people to be cultural ambassadors, innovators, and protectors of legacy. By building bridges across nations and traditions, the summit provides an immersive platform for dialogue, learning, and collaboration among future leaders committed to making culture a force for positive change.
